I can't find any info on a Microsoft "update" to know if it is legit or not.
This "update" notified me via a pop-up window while I was on Internet Explorer, to download & install this patch--so I downloaded it only to my desktop so I could check it out later. The title of the file is "MSN96_Patch5614.exe" and its "properties" list it as a Microsoft generated file concerning the "Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor" process. I wonder if it is a "hacker" tool, or is it a legitimate Microsoft patch that I need to go ahead and install. Anyone else get this?--It was about May 13th, 2010.1 person needs an answerI do too

I would like to inform you that this is not a hacker tool. It is a legitimate Microsoft patch for MSN. You can install it.
